This score will not be used by any company for shortlisting. It could be for a variety of reasons. The reason code will be displayed next to your score.

Score Mismatch There is a huge difference between the scores of two test (typically the online remotely proctored test and in person test) Besides the score(s) becoming invalid a moratorium may be applied on your profile which restricts your ability to use certain features/ offering of eLitmus for a given period of time/ permanently
Malpractice It means you engaged in unacceptable behaviour. To arrive at the decision eLitmus uses audio/video during test, review of rough sheet submitted, proprietary methodologies which include hidden images/text which are interpreted differently by the AI, navigation behaviour etc Besides the score(s) becoming invalid a moratorium may be applied on your profile which restricts your ability to use certain features/ offering of eLitmus for a given period of time/ permanently Corrective action you may take if you disagree with the fact that you engaged in any malpractice whatsoever is below

Corrective action you can take if your score is marked invalid

eLitmus understands that any malpractice detection system can have gaps. In the unlikely event of you being the rare case where our systems have gone wrong, you have the following option

  • Attempt an in person test nearest to you

  • You may check the list of upcoming tests at www.elitmus.com/tests

  • The in person test is held at regular intervals in Bangalore and NCR. Additionally there may be other one off centers too

If your score for this in person test is within 5% of the test score flagged for malpractice, you shall be reimbursed the following

  • Third AC to and fro fare between your place of stay to the nearest test center

  • If you select a test venue other than Bangalore or Delhi then the distance to the venue has to be lesser than either of the two cities.

  • If your score flagged for malpractice is against a test which you took physically than the place of commencing journey shall be taken as that location OR your actual location which ever is nearer

  • Incidental expenses of up to ₹500

  • However the maximum maximum of ₹4,000 .

Please note the above reimbursement is subject to following

  • You do not have any alternate valid score (A valid score is one which has not been flagged for malpractice)

  • The scores error margin with apply in each of the sections

  • eLitmus not sharing the evidence which shows you engaged in malpractice in the test whose score is marked as invalid
