If your branch is CSE, then I can suggest you something.
You start preparing programming questions. Send your resumes to startups and companies that hire via Elitmus separately(not through Elitmus). You need to be strong at Algorithms and Data Structures. Also, have a sound knowledge about your B.Tech Project.
You can strengthen your coding skills on websites like Codechef, Hackerrank, Codeforce, TopCoder, InterviewBit, etc.
