I have scored 49.05, 80.33 and 80.84 percentiles in verbal, ps and quant respectively, but have not got any calls till now. Is it because of low percentile in verbal as I was told that verbal does not matter that much?

Have you applied for sufficient number of companies? Also, you need to score at least 50 percentile above in verbal also. Anyway, your score is valid for 2 years, wait for more companies to apply for. Also I suggest prepare well and attempt again and try to score 90 above in all 3 sections to maximize your chances.
