What do companies look for, better percentile in each section or overall scores?

Companies mainly look for Problem Solving as it shows the candidates’ analytical thinking and problem solving ability. Quants is also important. I have seen students with low score in Verbal but high in Quant+PS getting calls. So Verbal is not given much weightage. But still it is a scoring section and can easily score 90+ percentile plus taking your total score 200+ if you do well in other sections.

Academics is also very important. Marks in X, XII & B. Tech matters.
Some companies want 80% throughout while some want 60%.
