Actually, I got a mail by e litmus stating updated time and venue. I have confirmed the same from e-litmus too, they said ya the time has been updated.

To be honest ,it was pretty weird
I personally interviewed for testing position.They mainly drilled me on my resume and projects.
Some questions on software testing was asked and basics in coding
Then I waited for a while and then asked to leave!

Are they focusing too much on projects bro? I have no C++ project in my cv. Ony Java and javascript.
Did some of you guys have HR round today?
I had hardware projects. So I don’t think it should be a problem

What part of interview was most uneasy part bro Software testing questions or project related questions, bro. Don’t worry! This will raise your technical skills so that you meet standard set by companies in future.
I felt I answered it pretty well.

The interviews was pretty bsimple and they focus mainly on the resume you submit
after the interview they will call you in and you’ll have another interview with the testing branch head
then you’ll be said whether you’re selected for next round or not

Ya, they asked me about my project, and tried to relate that with, how i ‘tested’ my project if something went wrong or desired results were not achievable. They were checking if we had a testing mindset. I was satisfied with my interview.
But then I was asked to leave. I am assuming, i have been rejected, because others were being called for 2nd round etc.
at first they sent me for interview with testing team but after checking my background(CSE) they sent me to the automation team… they asked basic OOP concept and they asked me to write some codes too…like reverse a string using recursion, check if a string is anagram…is yes then return true…etc
Worst management ever.
At first, the same interviewer who interviewed me in Delhi again interviewed me. He gave coding question on swapping of the kth node from the beginning and kth node from the end of the linked list. I was unable to write perfect code. He found my approach wrong. Actually, I was not prepared with the linked list. Then he again asked me about assignment operator overloading. I made some mistakes and he said to me, you can go home and try applying for jobs in Delhi only. Don’t waste time in traveling. First, study all concepts and then go for interviews. He also told me to go for Infosys Wipro etc, not Product based companies. He was frank with me. But I feel now that I have learned a lesson. I will not come to Bangalore to get job as fresher. I will try in Delhi only and with full preparation. Really sad with my Bangalore visit. But life sometimes teaches in different ways.
