In short -
Yes they are hiring from core branch too.
Your total score should be 100+ and college should be in the list to get the call.

Process is direct interview which is Technical + HR. Group of 5 students, 2 interviews. They check mainly communication skills, not many technical questions. But prepare basics of your subjects you studied.
